FAQs
Pressure Washing & Paver Sealing FAQs
How long does paver sealing last in Florida?
Paver sealing typically lasts 2 to 3 years in the Tampa Bay area, depending on foot traffic, sun exposure and the sealer used. We recommend resealing every 24 to 36 months.
What is the difference between soft washing and pressure washing?
Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to clean hard surfaces like concrete, brick and pavers. Soft washing uses low pressure plus cleaning solutions to safely kill mold, mildew and algae on delicate surfaces like roofs, stucco, siding and painted exteriors.
Is soft washing safe for my roof?
Yes. Soft wash roof cleaning removes black streaks, algae, mold and moss from shingle, tile and metal roofs with low pressure, which avoids the damage high-pressure washing can cause to roofing materials.
Do I need to be home during pressure washing?
Usually not. As long as the crew has access to the work areas and an outdoor water source, most exterior cleaning can be completed while you are away, and we keep you updated throughout.
Should pavers be cleaned before they are sealed?
Yes. Pavers are deep cleaned first to remove dirt, mold, stains and weeds, then re-sanded where needed and allowed to dry before sealer is applied, so the sealer bonds properly and locks the joint sand in place.
What areas does Tampa Bay Pro Pressure Washing serve?
We serve Lutz, Wesley Chapel, Odessa, Land O' Lakes, New Tampa, Tampa, Carrollwood, Citrus Park, Westchase, Trinity, Zephyrhills, Temple Terrace and surrounding Tampa Bay communities.
